Steam Properties
What is this
The calculations shows steam properties at different pressures and temperatures. Properties of Saturated steam as well as superheated steam can be obtained.
Why do you need this
These are basic steam properties which are usually available in steam tables. Steam properties are required for calculating steam side heat transfer, heat load of various applications like Boilers, Thermic Fluid Heaters, Evaporators.. Etc. These properties are essential for sizing different equipment in process industry.
Input/Output Data
User can select any one of the Units and then enter the input data like pressure and temperature. Once the user clicks the RUN>> button, the software calculates the required parameters and display the output data. The output data consists of various steam properties like steam Conductivity, Steam Dynamic Viscosity, Steam Kinematic viscosity, Specific Heat, Enthalpy of saturated steam , Enthalpy of superheated steam.
Areas where these calculations are useful and for whom
This data is useful for design engineers, boiler practicing engineers, consultants and boiler operating engineers.
